"Hanging out in LSU's Neighborhood may not be such a good idea after all.

Arlington - On second thought, Tesas A&M, maybe you should forget about that standing invitation to the SEC. Just say no, thanks. Sweetly. Don't give 'em reason to take it out on you any worse than they have already.

And while your're at it, pledge allegiance to the Big 12. Long may she waver.

Here in the friendly confines of the Big 12, you can put together a nice nine-or 10-win season and no one's the wiser.

Go to the SEC, like you considered last summer, and disasters like Friday's 41-24 walloping by LSU in the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic could become an all-too-frequent occurrence."

I love it.

The SEC would still be better for the aTm program in the long-run though. Sherman just isn't a very good coach.

that's a pretty stupid story. LSU and Arky were the 2a and 2b teams in the SEC this year and we lost to arky by 7 and were competitive last night for 3.5 quarters against you all.

A&M is getting killed in the Texas papers....

the feeling is that they shite the bed last night and would be outclassed for years if they went to the SEC...

And those are the teams along with MSU you stack up against. You would lose to MSU as well this year.

AU....well it would be ugly. And Bama is custom made to absolutely beat you all down...think TN.

You potentially could not have a conference win depending on your east draw.

Stay where you are...you can still play for championships without running a gauntlet EVERY year. IF you are really lucky you can get FL as your everyyear opponent as well.

Not the one where he was outgained, outpossessed, out ran, out hit, out coached, and out played.

They are having fond memory of the first two possessions.

You guys would have trouble with the physicality of the SEC in the beginning. By the end of the season you'd need a medical wing. It would take a few years to toughen up your players and get some depth.

If you are looking for a moral victory, look somewhere else. You got your arse kicked. Shut up and like it.

Remember when an average Tennessee team beat the hell out of them in a bowl game a few years ago?

The other front page editorial implies if Tamu wouldn't have lost their stud linebacker Hodges at the end of the first quater, we wouldn't have put up all those points.

It was over when LSU went up 35-17 early in the 3rd.

I will give them this. They didn't just give up at halftime like tOSU did in the 2007 MNCG.

that's a pretty spot on analysis on the game and aTm's chances in the SEC. LSU and Arky were the 2a and 2b teams in the SEC this year and we lost to Arky by 7 and got dominated for 3.5 quarters against you last night.

Five plays into the third quarter, the Tigers (11-2) put away the Aggies (9-4) when Jefferson threw deep to Toliver over the middle to propel LSU to a 35-17 lead.

so 3.5 means barely 1 half......

Only if you count halftime as 1.3 quarters.

For some reason Texas A&M has never been able to replicate UT's success in non-conference wars. I dunno why. There are so many schools playing football in Texas and with OU and LSU getting the best it makes it difficult for the cult. Even OSU and KSU are getting into the picture in Texas along with Missouri.

Terrence Toliver, approximately 30 miles or less from College Station. Just the latest example.
