I found it enjoyable and laughed out loud at times. Congrats to Scott for being critical, yet not overly harsh.

Miles is clearly trying to convince someone that things will be different in the wake of a stinging 34-29 defeat, though whether he’s trying to convince the fans or himself is debatable.
But what does Miles really mean when he says something? Fortunately, dear reader, after a decade of covering The Hat, your friendly neighborhood sportswriter happens to be fluent in “Milespeak.”
...Miles talked about coaching his players to play better. How does he propose to do that?
“I think I need to do a better job,” he said. “I think our coaching staff does as well. And are committed to doing so.
“Whatever we — if we need to teach in a different manner, if we need to — if the signaller needs to be more specific to the position, in any event, that’s what we’ll get accomplished.”
Sorry, folks, there are times the man is inscrutable.

Miles is fluent in Stengelese. Always has been. It's a way of saying a whole bunch without really saying anything at all.

The thing is...it's funny when the team is winning, and infuriating when it's apparent the season stands on the brink of a complete shitshow.

Les really missed his true calling in life - Press Secretary for the White House. Opportunity to get up there every day and confuse the hell out of everyone with circular logic and references to getting unspecified "things" done by undefined means.

One loss and retard fans are talking about "being on the brink of a complete shite show."
Yes the lsu fanbase is being taken over by reactionary chicken little pussies.

Being poor in Kenner really sucks, doesn't it?

It's not that they lost but the way they lost. The players are just kids and they do what they are told to do. It's that damn bullhead run the same freaking play , pee wee , 4 million dollar coach is where the problem is . Booger said on tv coming into the season that Harris was clearly the better qb , but miles has decided to go with AJ , he then said what does that tell the rest of the team?? Miles don't want a player being bigger than lsu, he needs to understand that he isn't bigger than lsu either . As long as he is head coach there will never b a offensive player win heisman . People are tired of this , fans helps pay his salary , so he needs to listen

Seriously. It's WAY past time that little frick got tossed off this website.

The last quote from les isn't hard to understand at all. We didn't get calls to certain position groups on defense before dak had the ball. If they need to change methods of getting the calls in, IF, then they will.

Be patient. You will soon come to realize how not good this team is. The incubation period is just a little longer for you.

here's the transcript of his Monday press conference:

most of what he says isn't really that hard to grasp within the context of the questions asked.

We're very weak on the lines and at MLB.
Solid WRs, solid RBs, solid secondary.
Doesn't matter, because we are weak on the lines. I could be playing QB and run this system successfully when the lines are good (i.e. 2011).

O line held up pretty well in pass protection vs miss state. Jennings just held onto the ball too long a lot of times.
