"It's a representation of LSU. Obviously, I wasn't here. I give credit to Les Miles and Frank Wilson," Orgeron said. "Those guys did the work. They did one of the best recruiting jobs in the history of LSU to get Leonard Fournette and all these guys."

Seems just like yesterday that Fournette, Adams, Dupre, and company were freshmen. Not much to show for it in terms of wins but we've had some exciting players on both sides of the ball these past 3-4 years.

The recruiting never was in doubt or in question, they kept going what Saban started, but it's how Miles and co. used these great players or underused them I should say. He barely won the one championship he has and that team was dominant, they shouldn't have 2 losses on their record to embarrassingly become the only team ever to win the national title with 2 losses. And he should have had at least 2 more championships to go along with that title, but at least he got a lot of wins to show for it.

but LSU is a juggernaut now in today's world of big time college sports, just as big as Alabama and in some cases bigger. A lot of kids across this country that would look at other big time schools in their areas with big eyed enthusiasm now look at LSU in that way before they even think about the home schools.
