Yeah that's pretty bad but if you're using that as a measure of explosiveness I'm not sure it matters.. he doesn't have to prove shite in that arena

Meh. I'm not really defending it but the vertical is so technique based nowadays. Fournette could legitimately jump higher than Cook and Cook's vertical could be 5 inches higher if Cook has better coaching and technique. Not saying that's the case, but it's pretty possible that he just totally sucks at hitting those stupid arse flappers at the peak of his jump

I watched him jump. He looked very stiff and nonathletic honestly It was weird

Lol did it look like he could've been psyched out? Again I'm not defending him but I absolutely hated the vertical and I used to freak out at the weird angle that it looked like I had to take to jump high and hit those flaps at the same time. So yea I guess I'm kinda defending him frick that drill, they need to switch to a laser or pulley system or something

Man that vertical is bad and will usually correlate with the run as far as explosiveness. But I've seen him ruin angles for CBs that even the smaller RBs can't do. I'm saying sub 4.5, in the 4.44-4.48 range

We know he is explosive as hell. Some guys are not good at jumping. Cook didn't jump well at all either for weighing almost 30lbs less and no one is all over that.

Agree, but he is just a bad jumper.

Cook jumped at 30.5 at a MUCH lower weight. It's crazy but damn. I hope fournette just burns it on the 40. Would be crazy to see a guy at 240 hit 4.4 speed.
