Did it come with a note that read:
"This is the one to poke in the eye, try to yank his helmet off, wrestle him well after the whistle"?

That's the game day program. Pretty common place to get the other program to look at players info

Yeah I'm sure Florida doesn't get any of the other teams player info until the day of the game

Not sure if you're serious, but if you are, then are you saying that it's commonplace to have one's entire team read up on opposing players' info just prior to kickoff?

Or maybe it's common practice for visiting teams to give their players a commemorative piece to file with in their "cool shite" box because of their forever to remember Death Valley experience.

Every team in the nation supplies the other team with game day programs. They lay them out in the home team locker room too. I thought this was common knowledge

Not to me until now; however, I was mainly questioning whether the coaches actually did this so their players could read up on opposing players' info. I can see if it's more of a keepsake, not necessarily to educate the team just prior to kickoff.

When do you think they would time to read up on a player?

I'm sure it's just a keepsake type thing. If you're searching the game program for the answer on how to stop someone, you've already lost

I saw several FL football players reading them on the bus after the game.

I heard that after the game, Leonard Fournette went into their locker room and signed all of the Florida players' programs for them. Wow what a great guy.
