Very happy the guy has turned his life around as well.
This thread is about lsu careers.
Unfortunately for him though, his time at lsu is stained bc of the choices and decisions he made while he was here.
Therefore To this point LF > TM by a lot.

Okay, it's not like the guy was treating women poorly or hurting anyone other than himself. Honey badger was a badass football player and lsu fans are lucky to have had him (along, of course, with many many other badasses). But, honey badger was also in nyc for the heisman, and he was a nontraditional selection as a db. Give the man the props he us due.

We agree here the op is pretty ridiculous

He was one of the most enjoyable players to watch at LSU. Even if for just 2 years, we were fortunate to have him for that. I don't see it as stained at all.
The answer to the question. Fournette who plays on offense and is in the current should generate more publicity for LSU.

You can't argue this with me and you know it.
The only reason people can't 'argue this with me' is because you're a dumb arse idiot who know jack shite about the meaning of the word 'thug' but keeps mouthing off because you're too dumb to quit.
I have lived in Baltimore. I know thugs. I can introduce you to some of them if you'd like.
Tyrann Mathieu has problems, but he wasn't a thug, you dumbass piece of stupid.
Edited to add: obvious TigerLee alter.

It depends on if you think all publicity is good publicity.

LF7...because he's got the hype early, it will continue to grow, and he will win the Heisman this year. Book it.

Probably one of your best posts and I agree. He does nothing but show love for LSU even given the bad ending he had that he clearly realized was his fault. It's quite an amazing story from beginning to now. Not even just the upbringing but how inspiring it is for a guy his size playing as well as he has against people so much bigger. The underdog story is what comes to mind here.

I still think Mathieu is the best college football player I've ever motherfricking seen.
So my vote, (for now), is him.

That's fine and dandy.
But the fact is, while at LSU he was a thug who some lsu fans loved be he was good.
LF is in different universe.
In every way possible
Please tell me how he was a "thug"

Yeah, I don't consider HB a thug. He was young and stupid, but not a thug. I usually reserve that for people that are violent or threaten violence. Your gangbangers, armed robbers, etc.

I don't know. He was damn good. And his claim to fame is he made a very disproportionate amount of game changing plays from a position where that wasn't typical. You just don't hear of a guy playing in the nickel position making that many forced fumbles, INTs, and game changing plays.
He's not the best college football player to ever play. But he had a sick nose for the ball and was a game changer.

Apparently people are misunderstanding the Honey Badger's swag and attitude for being a thug. I say that because you have to be an unintelligent, naive son of a bitch to call someone a "thug" for smoking marijuana. It's funny because that "thug" has influenced more people positively across the state of Louisiana than the message board warriors ever dreamed of. To answer the OP, LF will finish his career with more hype because he was the #1 recruit in the nation and has been under the media eye from the beginning. LSU has been blessed by some amazing representatives of the University through the football program recently: The Honey Badger, Patrick Peterson, OBJ and Leonard Fournette.

Between Shaq, OBJ, and Lolo Jones. I don't think we need anymore publicity. I mean Odell is on the cover of fricking Madden.....................Madden!

He sure did hurt his team and his coach by continuing to make choices that got him kicked off the team
