Even though yardage-wise he surpassed the total, was this his best game as a Tiger? Moreover, is it the best game by a LSU RB ever?

That was pretty damn impressive. It was pure dominance from the very first snap. I'd stack his '16 game against Ole Miss up with it. If he was healthy and had gotten a full load of carries in that game he EASILY gets 300

Ole Miss game was pretty impressive as well, but most of the yardage in that game came from long runs where he was barely touched except for the one where he stiff-armed that safety to the ground shortly after trucking him on that pass he caught in the flat.

LF7's best games are ahead of him now that he has pro blockers.

'14- Florida, Texas A&M, notre dame
'15- Auburn, Syracuse, Florida, Texas tech
'16- ole miss, Arkansas

Those are the games that stick out to me.

Remember he got those 228 yards in 3 quarters against AU. He got pulled out halfway through the third quarter and only came back for the 1 yard td run.

I haven't been to very many games in Tiger Stadium, but I was there for that one. Despite the heat, that was a very fun game to attend.

Easily his best game. That's the game where my dad finally admitted that he's the most talented to back to ever play at LSU in his opinion.

After LF7's first carry of the second half, he had 249 yards on seven carries with three touchdowns. In our lifetimes, you will probably never see that, again.

Fournette had 227 yards on 17 carries and 2 TDs with 10.56 to go in the 3rd quarter. His last 3 carries before his 18th and final carry 2 drives later went for 9, 20, and 29 yards. Safe to say he would have went over 300 in 25 carries or less.

That might have been the most dominating running back performance I've seen. They were scared to even try to tackle him. Plus that Auburn guy running his mouth before the game made it even better

Kevin Faulk against Houston in 1996 has to be up there.

21 attempts - 246 yards - 2 TD

4 returns - 106 yards - TD

I've never seen an SEC defense give up like that.

Man, it was so hot at that game. I remember they reduced the price of bottled water so people wouldn't get heat exhaustion.

But he dominated from the very start. Straight up running over people, throwing another guy off his shoulders, then making another guy miss and he jogs into the end zone.

That was beautiful.

It was almost sad to watch. You show up and go through the motions against a player like LF and you get what we saw, A single player making your team look pathetic.

He was the best player on the field that day and it wasn't even close. Damn shame the defense collapsed like they did.
