Apparently commercial post are against the rules. I made one before this that got wacked.
For what it's worth, the new commercial is way better. That mailbox crap was garbage.

Is this really what happened? I still don't understand how the mailbox garbage made it beyond concept. I think my 4 year old could have done better.

About time. Mailbox and the poem commercials were some of the worst collegiate advertising in the history of television. We have one of the most picturesque campuses in America, and along with a unique local culture, we should be pumping out top shelf commercials with ease.

New commercial is the best I have seen in years for the university. First time in a while that I have been proud about the content of an LSU commercial.

Hell, these two 30-second spots produced by LPB (pimping their own program) were better than what the school itself was producing.
