You get to now live that era part deaux

LSU was always sort of good. Many years a glimmer of being really good. But couldn't bear Bama, played second fiddle to Notre Dame in bowl selection, had the occasional Ole Miss loss, some spectacular games, struggled with Tenn and Auburn, and usually loss one they shouldn't.

Tonight LSU signed up for that again for next 10 years or so ... Tells us how you like it in a few years.

LSU was the 14th best program in CFB history before 2000.

How many of those wins do you think Mac racked up?

Way more than his share, that's for sure.

And nobody beat Alabama very often from 1965 to 1979. Bear Bryant lost 16 games in the 1970s.

But rewrite history any way you want, baw. You guy is coaching at Alabama now - just switch to them and you won't have to worry about it.

(Jimbo was never coming here - his agent is Jimmy Sexton - I shouldn't have to tell LSU fans that, but apparently I do.)
