What type of passing plays does Canada call against a stacked front?

More passes and or jet sweeps probably. It's only easy to stack the box when you know exactly what your opponent is going to do.

Lot's of fail in that. Stacking the box allows a defense to get men in every gap. This includes the ends. So a jet sweep would be a terrible call against a stacked box. And, no, stacking the box is not only for when you know "exactly" what the offense is going to do. It works when you suspect a running play.

Are you mentally handicap? Please answer honestly, so I can stop calling you an idiot if you have a mental disability.

he will motion someone either out of the backfield or across the formation. this will pull the lb out. then toss dive up the middle.

You don't necessarily have to call a pass play. You can overload one side or another to create big holes in the run game when teams stack the box. They still have to play sound football. There are many ways to attack this, screens, wheel routes, passing to the backs in the flat, jail break screens, send a TE on a hot route down the middle for a quick hit.

This is when Canada will get creative. You can also just let your OL block one side of the blitz to take away that side of the field to bust a big run. Which is what Miles did so effectively at times. It's dangerous to stack a box with a RB like Guice and a QB like Etling. I can't wait to see teams do this so we can see how this offense responds to it.

Also moving all the pieces pre snap might give away some teams blitz. We'll see soon because I think next week they will try to stop the run in this way. Then I know State will do it, so I'm ready to see how Canada and our offense approaches it. GT

Canada will have something for the run blitz. I believe he almost welcomes it so he can bust big plays. We ran so much last week because BYU stayed away from the LOS. I said last week that they would likely do this to limit the big plays and bend but don't break. That's exactly what they did and was fairly successful with it.

You can create big plays on D by blitzing but you can also miss which will allow the offense to create a big play. Etling being a Senior QB should be able to exploit teams who try it. Canada is most effective when teams blitz IMO.

Hopefully this year our WRs are more aware of the blitz and know to get their head around immediately for a quick pass. You can adjust your routes when you see a blitz coming to hot routes which are more quick hitting routes that can turn into big plays if there is a missed tackle. We'll see
