If we can improve the D a lot' we'll be able to compete well in the SEC. Ballard is the best player on the team!!

If there was a sure win on the SEC schedule I think Ole Miss was it. So with it being so close I suppose the rest will be knuckle bites or getting blown out.

Ballard is the real deal no doubt. A few more good players, and there is 2 good ones coming in next year, and learning to play D would make them competitive.

One positive besides the win is there were 4 players in double figures and 2 with 7 each.

Well I care, and an SEC win is nothing to sneeze at. The ironic thing about this team is that the biggest weakness of this program for at least five years running was the lack of offensive production but, also having championship level defense. That reality has completely been flipped upside down this season. I hate that we give up over 65 ppg but, it's nice to see the ball being put in the basket for a change. We haven't had a team average over 75 ppg in a VERY long time.

Thus far it appears that Ballard is the best guard on the team, and Plaisance is the real deal in the post. We'll see how the rest of the schedule plays out. I suspect we'll struggle against the likes of Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt. But we may be able to handle everybody else....................or at least be even.

I quit caring when Sylvia Fowles left. We've sucked this then.

I don't know who else is in the league, but she has to be SEC Freshman on the Year. Team needs to buy into playing some defense though.

Ballard is averaging 20.8 points and 7 rebounds her last 5 games...

She also leads the league in steals.

Tennessee has a freshman named Bashaara Graves who is averaging 13.7 points and 8.7 rebounds a game. Ballard may have to overcome the Tennessee bias to win the award (to those who don't know, Tennessee women's basketball = Alabama football in SEC pecking order)

Im still back and forth on this team, Ballard is awesome, but Ole Miss RPI was 243! if we go above .500 in sec I think that is good, sec is very top and bottom heavy this year, most teams either very good or very bad, ole miss is the latter...

The game Sunday at Florida is huge. You are right in that there are very good and very bad teams in the league. I think LSU is in the middle. Florida is also in the middle....Florida could be a team that we are competing with in the standings at the end of the year and we need to beat them head-to-head. The next game after that is Arkansas...I also put them in the middle group.

TOP group
Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Texas A&M

ALMOST top group
South Carolina, Vanderbilt

MIDDLE group
LSU, Florida, Arkansas, Auburn

BOTTOM group
Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Alabama, Missouri,

Good. You won't need to post in any more threads. Now, move on to some other fan board where you belong.

I'm looking forward to this season. Seeing some progress here.

Cool post.

Now go back and post in the idiotic thread you started about which bowl it was better to lose in.
