And looking for something to do, we just did the Lakefront Brewery tour and it was awesome. Lots of LSU fans here. Tours run through the afternoon. Tour is an hour and is very entertaining. You get four beers on the tour.

Also, we had dinner and drinks at Mo's Irish Pub last night before the Brewers game. Would definitely recommend. Huge beer selection. Food was very good. Knowledgeable wait staff.

Just a couple of suggestions. Can't wait for Lambeau!

My flight lands in Milwaukee tomorrow at 11:30 and I'm so jacked to get up there.

Coworker emailed this to me about the local breweries...

- MKE Brewing Co. is my favorite. It's cheap, you get a souvenir glass, they have planned breaks on the tour to refill your glass, and the tour guides are FUNNY! OH....and if you finish the tour in record time....they let you hang out extra long to try what they have on tap. Usually around 12 - 18 beers in the summer.

- Sprecher Brewery is my second favorite. Why? Because it's AWESOME. I love me some dark beer. They also have great craft soda if you're bringing anyone under the age of 21.

- Lakefront brewery - This is what we'll call a "TWO FER". If you're in town on Friday night and want to kill two birds with one stone, this is it. They have a FAMOUS fish fry on Friday nights that draws a big crowd. Plan to wait around. But the atmosphere is fun - live polka band, anyone?....and hey, beer.

If fish isn't your thing, our pizza is thin, crispy and DELISH! Some of my favorites to think about:
Zaffiro's - smaller, in the trendy Brady St. Neighborhood. Get TWO, you'll thank me!

Lisa's - closer to UWM's campus, I used to frequent this three to four times a month when I lived in the neighborhood. And frankly, maybe more often than that.

DeMarini's - If you make it to the "south side" head to DeMarinis! My family has been going here since "mama's" opened LONG ago, which has since closed. Never fear, her sons - Dom and Phil - carry on the tradition of her yummy recipes.
