I'll concede to the UF game. I also think he will progress quite a bit. I just hope they mix it up a little. He's just not very good on play action with only 2 WRs and an option in the flat. IMO

this board would be horrible if everyone was all positive or negative all the time

11-1 with lose to Florida. Then beating Florida in Atlanta. #4 seed in the playoff. Offense is still power run with LF7 featured but Harris learns to make better short passes and reads defenses much better. The real threat of dink and dunk passes keeps the defenses honest and lets LF7 do his thing.

Even though I was hopeful that Fisher would replace him, I hope he runs the table next year. It would put nothing past him, except a Heisman winning QB.

If he flops next year however, I hope we take care of it like Georgia did. Just rip off the bandaid. Stop with all the damn leaking and trying to warm up the media. That backfired big time.

Fair enough...on the opposite side I'm ok with Miles getting another year, he has a strong class coming in and will have a Junior QB with 2.5 seasons under his belt with the QB guru Cameron...he's painted himself into a definite win now or go home corner

Pretty much. 2016 will be a pressure cooker.

You know the football program is in bad shape regarding Miles when those two guys were ok with him getting fired.

Count me in with the Choctaw / BeeFense5 camp.

There is no doubt that the expectation is SEC Championship and spot in the playoff. Possibly even a Heisman Trophy.

But the real fun will be visiting the Rant when Les gets a contract extension. The melt here will be glorious.

I'm an lsu alum and fan. My loyalty lies with the school and team. Not Les Miles. I've never met the man but I have been in attendance when he has spoken at the recruiting bash.
I have enjoyed Les as coach at lsu and can't begin to see why he makes so many people wrist slitting miserable.
But when it's time for him to go then I will move by support to the next guy.

because despite how much talent you or I think we have on paper, Bama has that times 2. Just because they are losing some big time players doesn't mean they don't have plenty more then we have ready and waiting. Plus they have depth that goes 3 deep.

They have players you don't even know about or haven't heard about because they are just waiting there turn.

so to win the SECW next season we have to win that game, which is possible, because we have come close lately and beat them in Tuscoulousa 4 years ago, but I would say they are still the favorites to win it next season as well.

a lot depends on how much Harris (or another QB) comes along because with out that, the things we want to do on offense just won't be possible.

If we had gotton a new coach or not wouldn't have changed any of that

Your post just got you a lot of respect in my book. That's a reasonable expectation. If we don't go to Atlanta next year AT LEAST, then Miles has to go.

About the same record as a new coach would have. Give a game one way or the other.

So are you even going to root for us to win any games next year? Or do you want to lose every game so les actually gets fired? I personally think we are a much better team next year and go 10-2 11-1.
