I'm pretty sure most of the people who wanted Les to stay believed that he deserved one more year with this group of players to see if he can win with the core of this team as upperclassmen over them being freshmen and sophomore. Most said if he doesn't get it done next year then it will be time. I know people are tired of the young excuse but this year will be the second year in a row where the team won't be gutted by the draft. That hasn't happened since the two years before 2011. Not predicting anything just pointing out facts.

2-3 losses regular season, bowl game is 50/50 like they generally are. Could get lucky and beat Bama and end up the SEC west champs but not likely unless Harris just some how really improves between then and now. Should be an excellent season.
Untill we string together some really good recruiting classes with a good QB or two and heavy on the big guys, just can't see LSU getting back in the NC hunt.
even with all this mess we should still end up with a solid class and if we could land another one next year, get a QB from somewhere, we are right back in it. A new coach couldn't change any of that.

For the 72,326th (and last) time, yes I have expectations.
No, Les Miles can't just do whatever for all eternity.
However, those "expectations" float both ways. Panicking and wanting to nuke the whole system because of 3 losses to ranked teams (2 on the road and 1 of those to a team also expected to compete for a championship) and then not having even a semblance of a plan for getting the next guy is also no bueno in my book.
So, no, I didn't want to roll the dice on getting the next hidden gem this year. And no, I don't give a shite what Georgia did because no, Mark Richt wasn't a better coach.

Jr QB, best RB in CFB, plenty of weapons on offense
DL and DBs should be solid
only real apparent issue would seem to be LBers

When LSU was winning earlier this year, you were seldom on the Tiger Rant. Why is it that you only jump in to defend Les Miles AT ALL COSTS? Seriously, I would see your posts on the SEC Rant, but you never posted on the Tiger Rant until people started turning on Lester. Then you felt the need to jump back in and defend the defenseless.

Harris has not shown he can successfully run this offense when asked to pass over 20 times. That's worrisome. I'm hoping he's in gun more next year.

he hasn't been the same QB since Bama

Expecting a legit run at the SEC Champ/playoff
If not I think you step back and evaluate the situation. If a change is made then fine. I said numerous times that I was ok with a change this year but I'll be supporting the program as much as I have my whole life regardless.
