for starters hes not that good ,hell WKU had a qb last night that was better than both of ours, put him on our team and hes a beast.Lee has the headlights look in big time games, jefferson is definately better against top defenses, difference is he can make plays with his feet and make just enough throws.Yes lee is the better passer of the two but that dont mean hes good at it,get pressure on him and he crumbles, back foot throws and his floater passes get picked like against bammer. I appreciate what Lee did for the team this year but he is what he is and thats a game manager not a playmaker,he has to be contained so he wont make mistakes. Jefferson is a manager and a playmaker with his feet and we will need both of them cause together they make a complete qb. Les Miles isnt stupid and im sure there was a reason why he did what he did last night and he definately knows more about football than any of us ranters

I'd shy away from strong phrases like "he's not that good" because they only inflame the situation. But it is a fact that we are not a QB dependent team. Lee has been what we needed all year. He hasn't won us a single game (which he did do a Florida last year), and he was pulled before he could lose us the Bama game. They're both pretty mediocre. I honestly don't know who's better at this point, but we will not win a MNC if we need a 25 for 40 400 yard passing performance.

It won't happen.

JJ is NO different. Lee got screwed!! LsU sat the 9-0 starter, the same QB that beat UO and WV.

NO HE WASN'T...

If that guy was a decent QB, he would have had at least 2 TD passes. He missed badly on many of his throws. Sorry Charlie.,
But I do agree with the rest of your post, we don't win with the QB's, except possibly the BAMA game.

i dont think he got screwed if any thing Les did what he needed to do to start bringing jeffersons confidence back up as a passer,True he didnt have a stellar game and light them up but he wont do that against anybody, the game jefferson had last night is the same game he would have against anybody in the country aside from bammer

he made some bad throws but so does andrew luck, and i know hes pretty damn good so a couple passes dont make him bad. But i said he was better than both of our qbs not a great qb

JJ started... was the same as always... (except Bowl games...) I said in Auburn game, we'll need JJ against Bama... Because Bama had not played a running QB all year...
This article from Guilbeau in Shreveport says it best...
Jefferson just cannot see where a receiver is going to come open so he waits for them to Be Open...
It was just like the last two years watching him as starter... Your stomach turned, you winced every time he went back to pass because he's a second slower on everything except the decision to tuck and run... Guilbeau makes great point... JJ like the wild reliever that comes in and shifts the other team's hitters off balance...

JJ is quick to make poor decisions too... Ie - hold on to the ball too long in the end zone...attempt to get rid of it too late... Intentional grounding/safety. He has done these things for 4 years. They both need to realize when to get rid of it and make good decisions.

thats exactly why we need both guys. Plus its jeffersons Senior year and im sure if Les thought he could live with him to start a game it would be WKU. but we will see where les miles heart lies next week against OLE piss, dont be surprised if lee is starting again

i guess it would be different if we had a qb like manning or brees or rodgers or brady on the Pine ,but were talking about Jarrett Lee they are esentially the same only jefferson has RB speed and lee makes quicker decisions

How many ranked teams has Lee beat this year? Please tell me one other QB that can say that.

That's your arse talking because your mouth knows better.
Back your statement above with any proof.

JJ is good in some situations and Lee is better in others. We don't win vs the Vols or Gators last year without Lee. He did what JJ is incapable of doing.

I am all for either if we get the job done.

Les Miles, who I like, was dishonest in his reasons for starting Jefferson last night. Lee would have been just as effective. JJ didn't run any option and he didn't do much with his legs last night.

Regardless, you're FOS.
