We're definitely not fans of the Grass Man, but let's wait and see what happens against Miss.State and Auburn before all the negative talk starts. And most everybody knows if we lose those two games, the Season will be over very early..........

We're just really curious as to how many (If any) of the the resident Sunshine Pumpers, Sand Headers and Cheerleaders on here (Choctaw, Gray Tiger, etc........) have either attended or graduated from Louisiana State University.

Yall remind us so much of Alabama Gumps that have never set foot inside a classroom at the University of Alabama, but have obsessively latched onto that football program for dear life and defend it at any and all cost.

Graduates of LSU usually have higher standards of excellence for the Program that those that didn't attend.

Pumper Gumps and Lumps are all carved from the same block of Granite............

'strong chested big 12'? i have news for ya man, the big 12 is a joke amongst the P conferences. the talent gap between the big 12 and the other P5 schools isn't even close. NFL week 1 2014, there were four SEC schools (LSU, bama, florida and georgia) that had more former players on then current NFL rosters than the entire big 12... talk about not having a clue...

It was sarcasm, ODSanchez. My point with Patterson is that he won a total of 4 games in 2013 when he had poor QB play in the weak BIG XII.
Now hes a national title contender back to back years. U think TCU was calling for his head in 2013? Even little ole TCU knows its difficult to win without at least avg QB play regardless of conference.

no, but i do think LSU should be in the SEC championship game a minimum of four times a decade.

SMH

Ok seems somewhat reasonable. Miles has been to 3 in 10 years and had an undefeated team at one of those and a national title team at another.

i seem to recall that last year a certain SEC west team took a practice squad quarterback to within 7 points of playing for a national championship... here's your only hint, it wasn't Leslie Miles and LSU.

Im assuming Dak Prescott? Practice squad?
You are a funny fella. If Prescott was a practice squad guy what would that make Harris/Jennings? Miles won 8 with Harris/Jennings.

[quote]what is your obsession with TCU and Patterson?

None. Just an observation of how difficult it is to win without a decent QB. 2013 4-8; 2014 12-1.

Gary is a gimmick coach who was coaching in the mountain west three years ago.

Whatever.....

Patterson won his 110th game at TCU with a 56-0 rout of Grambling, passing Dutch Meyer as the winningest coach in program history. His teams have won at least 10 games in a season eight times. Only twice have they failed to reach a bowl, in 2004 and 2013. Patterson's Frogs have earned a spot in the year-end top 25 nine times, counting his partial season as head coach in 2000.
