Scott Roussel of Football Scoop.com - "I think 100 percent, " said Roussel. "There's no way that LSU would be moving forward with this discussion unless they were exceptionally confident that they had their next guy. There's been no discussion of anybody other than Jimbo Fisher as I understand it. It's my full belief, if they pull the trigger and move Les out, that Jimbo will be the next coach at LSU."

99.9%

There's always a small chance something happens, but it's as locked up of a deal as it can get.

If Miles conveniently retires tomorrow, it's because Jimbo is being introduced Monday.

There isn't a strong history of these things working out like the rumors say they will, although 1 case is another Sexton client.

wouldn't 100% be basically a done deal. Some of you are just looking for a reason to discredit people on this site.

About 25%

I'm pretty sure Alleva knows how to screw this up.

If this doesn't happen, SEC fans will enjoy the melt. If this does happen, SEC teams won't enjoy LSU going in dry.

Hmm...The words "I think" and "100 percent", have no business being used together. One allows wiggle room, the other implies certainty.

Can't have it both ways...we'll see.

This is the same type of situation as when Miles was all but gone to Michigan the first time. Then he came out with the infamous "damn strong team" speech and shot all that down.

Everyone needs to just chill and we'll know more by Saturday.

If Jimbo is our guy I really hope we keep Orgeron, Wilson, Raymond and maybe even Steele as a LB coach for his recruiting. At the very least I'd like to keep Orgeron and Wilson. I can understand if Jimbo wants his own guys here. Hard to argue with that considering his results in recruiting. Guy steals recruits from Bama sometimes.

He went into Bama and got Winston.. who had both Alabama and Auburn after him hard.

Winston wanted to establish his own legacy. People assumed that Saban wouldn't let him play baseball, but that is 100% untrue. They had a plan in place for him to.

I agree the only thing 10O% are death and taxes. But it's probably around 99.9%.

99.9 % certain Jimbo and Miles are coaching their last games of the season for their respective teams.

That's pretty much the consensus. Miles will go out with class, I expect nothing less from a man of his character.

Not certain at all. In fact, I'm skeptical at this point.

If LSU makes a move, they might be inclined to go the Alabama route and give Chip Kelly that final nudge to bail on the NFL.

I have no problem with LSU fans being skeptical. But believe it. The info out there is, after the two losses LSU boosters were told that a certain coach was ready to come to LSU. And they were ready to dish out $15 million to release Miles when they found out who. That makes a lot of sense.
