Food for thought:
2012: Carson Palmer
2011: Jason Campbell/Palmer
2010: Campbell/Bruce Gradkowski
2009: Charlie Frye/Jamarcus Russell/Gradkowski
2008: Russell/Andrew Walter
2007: Josh McKnown/Dante Culpepper/Russell
2006: Walter/Aaron Brooks
2005: Kerry Collins
2004: Collins/Rich Gannon
2003: Gannon/Rick Mirer/Marques Tuiasosopo
2002: Gannon

so you have to go all the way back to 2002 to have a ProBowl QB for the Raiders...

To be fair, that was all under the Al Davis regime. Not saying Flynn/Oakland will be great, but it's obvious they are in rebuild mode right now and moving far away from the Davis Raiders.

.....and continuing to make more!

Hope he does well and gets decent supporting cast on his new team. I have always been a fan of Flynn.

Per a source with knowledge of the transaction, the Raiders have adjusted Matt Flynn’s contract to increase his guaranteed money from $2 million in 2013 to $6.5 million. All $6.5 million is fully guaranteed.

To get there, the Raiders increased Flynn’s base salary from $5.25 million in 2013 and decreased his 2014 base salary by $1.25 million, from $6.25 million down to $5 million. Making the entire 2013 compensation fully guaranteed means that Flynn definitely will have a roster spot with the Raiders for the coming season.

Are you under the impression it was his decision whether or not to be traded?

I honestly just wanted Flynn to be the first player to have a Championship with my NCAA team LSU and my Pro team, Seahawks....guess it wouldnt of been the same being the back up whose only important job would be holding Russell Wilson up so hes eye level in the huddle. Oh well. Fun thought while it lasted.
