Their guys got the time to heal, LSU will be playing them in the middle of the most difficult span of games of any team in college football, AND Florida gets to have LSU in Gainesville next year.

Baton Rouge doesn't lose out in 10 million in revenue. And this game will definitely bring in more money than the south Alabama game. Baton Rouge needs this game this year.

So we should have not played?

At least we back in control

Yes they do, its just next year instead of this year. Florida still takes a home game from LSU.

Nah, they now lost 2 home games this year instead of one.

LSU just schedules a home opener instead of a neutral site next year, and it's a wash.

LSU offered to play in Baton Rouge last week, and Florida refused...why do you think? Now LSU plays at Florida two years in a row.

Agreed. At the end of the day UF got what it wanted.
The only consolation here would be a night game where we kicked the ever loving shite out of them.

Baton Rouge needs the money NOW.

And, we'll have a new coach next year so expectations will be tempered anyway.

I think its a win win.

They chose to lose out on the first one, and LSU will be handing them one back next season. I consider one lost home game appropriate given the hurricane situation.

We're already scheduled to play BYU in Houston in 2017 and Miami in Arlington in 2018.

UF gets healthy, but the game isn't in Gainesville.

This scenario was best case for us amongst the bad scenarios. The conference wasn't going to let the game go un played.

It is what it is.
