No, its called supply and demand. If LSU can get $800 per ticket, that's what will be charged. Its better for our football program to be wealthy, rather than skimping on facilities and services. You want championships these days, you pay for them.

since louisiana is the only state that is still creating jobs, i think they can get away with raising tix prices for now.

if you don't think Skip was a good AD, and you don't like Alleva so far, who do you think was or is a good AD?

Ok, so they don't raise ticket prices this year, they'll just raise them next year or the year after...

I never said Skip wasn't a good AD. I do think he was a far better, and great coach. His comment to all of the loyal fans (which basically said they got their entertainment and LSU owes them nothing) never sat right with me.

I thought Bob Broadhead was a great one and set the bar. I believe he brought in Bill Arnsparger, Skip Bertman, and Pat Henry. His book, "Sacked!" is hard to find but interesting about the network that is LSU and its politics.

That may be true, but I am starting to see the signs of a slow down in the construction side. Projects where you normally have 4-5 companies bidding against you there are now 15+, and jobs are going extreemly cheep.

I wouldn't say we are immune to whats going on....

We are certainly not immune to what's going on. It will hit us, just a matter of when and for how long. Hopefully it's shortlived.
