This game HAS to be played and this is the only option other than possibly playing at Florida. That won't happen because Joe would get 10000% CRUSHED.

Reasons for Florida AT LSU

1. Florida has been paid in full for the revenue for LSU game through their insurance. LSU will NOT be paid for SA game lost revenue if they cancel.

2. Alleva has SAID there will be a home game on this date and he will NOT play an open date before Bama He already knows this is his plan.

3. I believe LSU should stick to their line in the sand and say this is the only option. Florida had their shot at a home game...now they have to fix the mess they created.

4. You can't start messing around with other fan bases and moving games A&M game is NOT moving off of Thursday. ESPN won't let that happen!!

5. PR standpoint: Do a Hurricane Matthew Fund drive at LSU, give some of the money from game revenue, etc. Florida can say "anywhere, anytime" and Joe can look like he beat Foley at something, finally.

Only option!

There is zero chance of this happening. Absolutely zero. Less than zero. Quit suggesting it. It's ridiculous.

If UF would not consider giving up a home game in the face of a hurricane what makes you think they would do it now?

I seriously doubt the game will be played at all. Unless both teams are eliminated from the SECCG, then it'll be on the 3rd prolly as a flood relief game.

Florida doesn't want this game to be played. Their path to the SECCG is all but assured with a Tennessee loss to Bama this weekend. Why would they risk losing to us? They just want to be portrayed as the victim, but they have no intention of playing LSU.

That's not on us. By the way, how did Florida's volleyball team do lat weekend?

Theoretically, that would be correct. LSU doesn't lose a home game. But, because Florida played 2 straight in BR, we would be expected to play 2 straight in Gainesville. Which means we lose a home game next year. Moving it to BR wasn't an option last week. It definitely isn't an option going forward. To label it the "only option" is both wrong and absurd.

Won in straight sets I believe

the Athletic Directors' ego is now more important than the kids playing the game

The only way it gets played is if its in Florida's advantage against the Vols. If they stick to percentages, than probably the game will not be played ever. If Bama beats the Vols, then you have scenarios that could lead to Florida wanting to play the game but only if the SEC is suggesting they change to divisional game records. In that case, most probably the game will still not be played unless the SEC agrees to Dec 3rd, which probably won't happen.

Florida isn't going to schedule the game in any location unless it suits their purpose.... which is advantage.

This won't happen. Florida has already lost one home game (the originally scheduled LSU game) due to the hurricane. If the LSU game is moved to BR, and their other home game has to be cancelled (to free up Nov. 19th), then they'd be giving up two home games. If LSU isn't willing to give up one home game, it's more than hypocritical to demand they give up two home games.

I don't think you get this, UF doesn't want to play this game as long as they have less losses than Tennessee period end of story. If they have the same amount of losses as Tennessee then UT goes to the SEC championship game.

This was a strategic move by the weasel team of Foley/McElwain to try and get to the SEC Championship game after losing to UT, why can't people understand this. Why do you think Foley/McElwain declined all the offers that were given to them by Alleva - play on Sunday or Monday in Gainesville or playing Saturday or Sunday in Baton Rouge and also going to neutral sites were offered. Don't listen to the lies, look at the proof. If Foley/ McElwain truly wanted to play that game this past weekend there were a whole bunch of scenario's that would have worked that they passed on for one simple reason;

IT BENEFITED FLORIDA TREMENDOUSLY BY NOT PLAYING THAT GAME AND NEVER PLAYING THIS GAME IF THEY CAN WIN OUT THE REST OF THEIR SEC GAMES.

It is truly that simple to see, don't listen to the noise look at the facts you will get a better read on what happened!!!!

Dec 3rd would be more of an option, move the SEC Championship game to the 10th. Atl has an away game that weekend. There is time.

No. Your premise is flawed. UForfeit will not give up a home game under any circumstances. That's how we got here in the first place. The SEC in concert with their partners at the SEC Network , ESPN and elsewhere will attempt to FORCE LSU via public pressure into a scenario that favors their interests.

frick em all. The line has been drawn in the sand. Looking forward to seeing UForfeit in Baton Rouge in 2017. Everything else is talk.
