Flea Flicker off the Toss Dive

How come no one seems to be talking about this? One of the big complaints on this board is that theres no play action off the toss dive. Seems like Les found a way to show up the tards once again.

I liked everything about that play. The safety biting hard wanting to help tackle Fournette, and the pass being absolutely on the money, which was needed since the corner stayed with Dupre and had decent coverage despite the fake.

LF7 tossed it back with a tight spiral... Harris didn't have to do much but catch and throw

Normally it seems like they take so long to develop going through the handoff and then the toss back. Since it was off the toss dive it developed like a regular play action.

Nice play.
So if we're keeping count, when the qb quickly tosses the ball to the tailback we now have:

I can pick apart your arguments, but that's not really the point.
The point is that LSU dialed up a very well timed, and executed flea fleaker. It was beautiful. But 1 trick play doesn't make the argument that you can't play action off of the toss dive incorrect.
It's threads like this that cause the bickering on this site so much. As soon as something goes wrong for the Tigers, there will be someone (not me, I'll join in a thread but I don't normally start the debate threads) starting a thread calling out all the posi-tigers that have been calling out all the nega-tigers...
it just won't end.

Why is this a surprise or point of contention? Does your favorite team pass the ball more frequently on a run play than they do run it? Are you calling for a handful of flea flickers per game?
