From my vantage point, FLA has all the pressure to win tonight. They are pitching their best pitcher left, while LSU is piecing it together tonight. LSU will have the advantage on the mound the rest of the series, and has a decided advantage at the plate.

IF Florida doesn't win tonight the hole is much larger than 1 game to none.

Let's say Florida wins Game 1 and LSU wins Game 2.

...LSU better hope the weather holds on Wednesday, otherwise they get to face Faedo on Thursday.

A loss would prob hurt UF more but the Tigers can't win and sit back.

I hear what you are saying, but don't agree with LSU having an advantage tomorrow if they are down 0-1 in a three game series.

I do like our chances with a healthy and rested Lange starting Game 3, however.

ALL the pressure is on UF. Nobody wants to be in the position of back to back must wins vs Poche and Lange.

Yeah, I'd call this one a must-win for Florida. Not insurmountable of course, but only having to win 1 of 2 with Poche and Lange ready to go would be a huge advantage for us.

Don't want that to happen, but could you imagine Lange vs Faedo, both on rest, pitching in a winner take all game.

Jeez, 2 runs wins that game.

If our history with UF means anything, we would just play a make-up game at the Box in August

Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE for that to be the deciding game from a competitive point of view. Instant classic.

From a selfish LSU fan's view... eff that

My thoughts exactly. If I were neutral, that's how I'd want to see the champion decided... but as an LSU fan, I just want to win #7.

Depends on what Poche we get and how Lange responds to 2 days less rest than he is accustomed to.

UF pitching staff is deep and talented. It's foolish to think we are going to somehow expose a lack of pitching depth. LSU, minus a few great performances, isn't hitting particularly well up there and that's understandable considering the pitching talent. I'll bet Florida feels just fine about their arms against our bats.

I fully believe we'll see Faedo at some point in a game 3 save type situation if that situation presents itself.

See OSU.

I agree with you, they are deep and talented, but are they better than what we say the last couple games?
