Well Juice seems to be on the fence about it all.

Mass exodus sounds bad. I guess we aren't supposed to send kids to the NFL? That's one of LSUs biggest recruiting pitches. Seems like LSU staff has been holding up their end of the bargain.

When we send kids to the NFL they should at least be drafted. That's what makes it bad when a handful of them aren't.

Agreed about the recruiting pitch but that "pitch" is now becoming detrimental to the program with the numbers and type of guys leaving. Just some really bad decisions. This has to turn around.

I think a story should be written on the unbelievable number of Bama juniors who forego the nfl. It's suspicious by any measure.

Anthony Jennings needs to sit down with Beckham and Landry and try to convince at least one of them to stay. Both of them leaving really hangs him out to dry.

Good interview with Landry he's a level headed young man.
Hope he comes back.

Johnson and Ego need another year to prove themselves, whereas Landry and Beckham have done that already. I still remember Johnson's four offsides penalties. That doesn't cut it in the NFL, along with subpar performance.

These guys may or may not leave, I have no idea. I think Landry and OBJ are ready and the rest need to stay.

But this article is a gump fan closing his eyes and wishing them to go, nothing more.

LSU underclassmen Jarvis Landry, Odell Beckham Jr., Ego Ferguson, Anthony Johnson and La'El Collins are all leaning toward declaring themselves eligible for the 2014 NFL Draft, according to a Yahoo Sports report.

Your missing 2 more on that list

LSU is losing 7 underclassmen

ETA: J/K O/U is at 6

Yea, let's miss out on millions so fricking Anthony Jennings doesn't get hung out to dry?

Say what you want about our DTs, but for some reason, a lot of people disagree. Almost every "professional" mock I've seen in the last week, has both of them gone by the middle of the second round. If they're being told they will go late 1/early 2, they gone.

I'm not sure what you mean by, "the legacy of their position." Do you mean they didn't play as well as their predecessors played? That would be a hell of a way to judge a players worth. If you mean they didn't play up to their potential, then I may agree, particularly where Freak is concerned. I personally would be happy to see both of them come back for their senior year. Just because they didn't live up to their hype as juniors doesn't mean they couldn't come back and have monster senior years. A player's experience level is critical to his development and performance. I don't get fans that wish away players that have the physical attributes and another year under their belts. Just because they stay doesn't mean the coaches have to start them. I would rather have an experienced senior behind my starter as a raw freshman.

This is one the stupidest statements I have seen in awhile on here. Your hoping that they leave because they didn't measure up to past LSU players in your mind? What the frick is your problem?

Myself I am proud and thankful for everything they have done as Tigers.

Hard to hope Landry and Beckham stay and leave first round money on the table.

If they want to come back I would be very happy, but not going to judge if they go.
