I have been watching this site for a year now and just never had the urge to jot down my own two cents until now. Im fairly young and cant say that i have a distinct knowledge of the program much past the 2000's. I do know that i have gone to plenty of games in the past and continue to do so to this day and when i sat in FCS across from the Penn st. fans, I was embarrassed for LSU. Our band, Our fans, and our team seemed to leave their attitude, pride, and desire on the streets of downtown Orlando on New Years Eve.
All I could here was "WE ARE"... "PENN ST".. and even caught myself dancing to the tunes of their band only because i couldnt hear ours.. Oh and i was 2nd row 50 yd line behind our fighting tigers. I give their fans and especially their band props because their 12th man definitely won the battle.
On a positive note.. WE ARE.. LSU!!! and we will have many more seasons with many more wins so here is to all the Negatigers
and for the 2010 season a great signing day coming up

Dude... who were you listening too? The band did awesome at the game. I heard nothing but good things from Penn State fans about how good our band was.

i knew i would receive immediate criticism from the "veteran" posters. but seriously, some of the people on here arent happy unless we're undefeated which is insane. I cant change that but i can flip them off.

when i heard familiar songs.. Then i would realize it wasnt our band. Maybe because of the angle i heard the bands from made penn st seem louder but our crowd was pretty lackluster and i heard that first hand.. remember.. i was there

I was there too. Maybe you shouldn't be such a cheap arse and should actually buy tickets near the LSU fans/band. Otherwise stop your bitching cuz you had bad seats.

sweet man! How did you like the Penn St. band playing the same song over and over? Did you ever stop to think their fans were in the game because their team gave them a reason to cheer which LSU didn't until damn near the end of the game.

I do think the angle made it easier for some of the LSU fans to hear the Penn St band and vice versa. The PSU band was pointed right at us and the GBFTL was aimed directly away.

DID YOU NOT READ THE OP!! my tickets were 400 a piece. 2nd row 50yd line.. i could hear Davenport screaming at the crowd!! and i didnt know you had to wait for your team to do something to cheer. we have always taken pride in being intimidating with our crowd.. not the case any more cuz bandwagoners expect too much.. this is why it took so long for me to post on here. there are few losers that sit on here waiting to verbally attack new posters.. i thought we were all LSU fans. but i guess some of you are too cool
