Kelsee Selman should get the start today. Hopefully the bats will continue and the pitching staff will continue to do well. This is the kinda series that shows if we are really the best in the nation and ready to hold on to that spot.

Scott is often wrong with his reporting on the softball... But at least he is trying, I suppose...

Glad you posted today's information. I was going to but I slept in today. I did get the standings updated for today and this weekend's results.

I asked for the softball standings to have a sticky before. How does that work? It would be nice to keep the standings at the top and I could edit it daily as I keep the standings and schedules on a spreadsheet.

Darn I must be getting old. I was there last weekend and I swear we swept the team from Oxfart. I guess when you turn 50 and are retired, you lose your memory....ha ha!!

Have a great day and

I would bet on Corbello starting today.

Either way, it's great to have lots of options.

We have been starting Waljasper in the second game, but I think she's been struggling a bit recently.

What about Selman? I don't think she's pitched much lately.

With Texas A&M beating Auburn 12-4 today, an LSU win moves them into a tie for 1st place. Would be nice to stay at least a game up on Florida through this stretch as well.

I have only video at my location. What was the explanation on calling Sandy Simmons out in the 2nd?

I think they said it was because she was out of the batter's box when she made contact.

Glad Walljasper was able to work around her error there. It could've gotten in her head, but she responded great.

I liked that it was in the midst of the announcers talking about how hitting rise balls out the park gets into the hitters head so they swing and miss at them more. Ha.
