Franks is trash. Scott probably isn't good either

Scott hasn't proven anything
Shea was never ours

Brennan and Lowell are still on our roster.

Dumb thread.

QB play is about 10th on the list of LSU issues right now

Etling isn't making that game winning throw if his life depended on it.

He didn't ask for my opinion on Etling. Doesn't change that Franks is trash.

That's why they call it a Hail Mary. Franks closed his eyes and prayed. Etling could do the same. Luck is luck.

Never said he didn't have a big arm. Harris had a big arm too, and Tennessee just didn't defend the Hail Mary inexplicably

He's still trash and hasn't moved the offense in any game this season.

Lindsey Scott plays for perhaps the best JUCO in the country. All he has to do is deliver accurate screens and watch his receivers run 80 yards to the house!! GO EDUCATE YOURSELF!! The talent gap between their team and their opponent is laughable most games

Wrong. QB play has been the Achilles heel for LSU the last 4 years or so.

Past tense -- yes.

But on Monday Sept. 18th, 2017 --- with Danny Etling as our starting QB -- as a prior poster stated, QB play is far down on our list of problems.

He did a good job of avoiding the rush, extended plays and hit WR's in the hands/face mask on critical 3rd downs... he did his part

He had 3 drops, but still had 13 other incompletions.

Tennessee did a lot of dumb things in that game. Letting a receiver get behind the defense with 4 seconds left was one of them.

Franks is hot dogshit, and Shea Patterson literally had zero interest in LSU at any point.

an incompletion isn't always the QB's fault. He may be pressured by the defense, the WR may run a bad route or not get any separation, etc. And if the QB throws the ball away because the WR isn't open, then that's usually a smart play.

Just saying a pass is incomplete so the QB failed is lazy analysis.
