Remember the beatings by UGA and UF? Almost beating BAMA somehow? Then being picked to lose to GT in the Chicken Bowl?
That team had coaching problems, experience problems, and leadership problems.
This year's team seems to be very similar.

Biggest difference was there was easy scapegoats-Mallory Peveto. I feel like Cam and Chief are as untouchable as Miles right now. This is where Tennessee was at the end of Fulmer and Texas at the end of Mack.

'08 is a low bar to compare to but I remember. We pulled to within 7 vs UF after our 1st possession in the 2nd half. So we competed for a half.

Last night we didn't compete at all. That was disheartening to watch. Thus far, '14 is way worse than '08.

This feels more like 1999. We lose to Miss State. We lose to Auburn 41-7

Not at all. Feels like 2009 with a worse defense. That offense was so bad and so was this one. 2008 wouldn't have been so bad without the picks.
