One player that seems to be taken for granted in the "future depth chart" threads is Chark.
He's listed as a junior.
He's arguably been our best WR this year.
Does anyone think he's leaving?
I think he'd be drafted pretty respectably.
Although he could certainly sky rocket his draft stock if he came back as the number 1 target.

He'd be foolish to leave.

Not worried. He lit it up this year but he doesn't have enough stock to go because of how seldom he played as a sophomore.

I think he'll be here next season.

I think he'd turn heads in the combine. I wouldn't be disappointed because he's worked so hard to get on the field. I think there's WRs on the bench that would fit into his role well

He's our best WR in my opinion, but he'll come back to rise in the rankings. Wouldn't be surprised to see Malachi come back as well as he really needs to get stronger also. BUT, Chark has more speed than probably any WR in the nation...

Any draft eligible receiver that leaves would be a fool. Chances are better to Play your senior season due to the fact that the offense will open up more, with more chances to up your draft stock. Hell the last part of the year we started passing a lot more. More chances to showcase yourself.

I think Chark will run a 4.3 or 4.4 in the draft, he has displayed hands and playmaking ability. I can see him being a 3rd to 4th round pick.

He didn't really start getting significant playing time until Miles was gone. If he stays, his draft should go much higher.

He could very easily leave. Why anyone expects juniors to stay is beyond me. Expect them all to leave and just be happy when they decide to stay.

Why exactly? it's not like every junior we've ever had has left-and look at all the ones who came back last year. You think Russell Gage should leave too, just because he's a junior?

Bc IDGAF about the NFL or how much money they can make once they leave LSU.

I care about LSUs success.

Jonathan Allen Alabama stayed and he's prob most dominant player in college football.
LSU fans on ither hand almost giddy about the fact that guys nobody outside of LSU really even knows their name are leaving.

Fornette and Adams should go.
Rest should stay

With a returning starting qb in DE who can workout with him during the offseason, he returns. He would be forgoing big $$ and opportunities. Dupre IMO should do the same thing. Would be different if we had a FR QB stepping in....and yes while I think Brennan will be GOOD, he will need a yr behind DE to pick up the new OC system and fill out.

I don't think he will leave considering he saw very little playing time under our previous HC.

I think he needs to see who the new OC is. If it's someone he believes can scheme to take advantage of his incredible skills, then he will benefit greatly from the extra year at LSU.

I agree that he'll be a combine head-turner with his speed, hands and agility. It'll be almost like the Honey Badger at his combine. Lots of ooooohs and aaaaahs.

This is exactly what his advisers should be telling him. Wait and see to evaluate whether a new OC can vastly improve his stock. He's in a decent spot now, but it could jump big time in the right system. He showed his talent this year and I agree his combine will be good
