I know there will be a lot of Herb Tyler, Kevin Faulk, Eddie Kennison, and Tommy Banks comments in here but my favorites were Gabe Northern and Anthony McFarland. Something about watching them disrupt the line of scrimmage on poor teams made them fun to watch. At least Booger got to play in a couple bowl games.

Gabe Northern once rode up to Sports on a horse. An imposing sight.

I remember seeing Gabe Northern partying his arse off at Murphy's. As an 18 year old, I thought he was the biggest human being I'd ever seen (sans Shaq).

The one after Eric Moulds had his return for a touchdown? or am I thinking a different one? Was that in 94?

I had the Advocate Sports Section front page of Shedrick Wilson after he scored against Arkansas in 1995 hanging on my bedroom door.

For some reason he sticks out in my mind when I think 90s LSU Tigers.

All my family roots are from New Iberia and I spent a lot of time in the New Iberia area and I always enjoyed watching Mark Roman play safety!

Was it Mixon? Damn. You may very well be correct. Naturally, I was bombed.

Gabe Northern was my favorite back then. I remember being sad when my Dad told me we couldn't watch his games in Buffalo.
