Starting to get a little feel for starting position guys

C - Fedduccia or Doolittle
1B - Bryce Jordan
2B - Broussard/Hughes/Woley
SS - Smith
3B - Slaughter
LF - Duplantis
CF - Watson
RF - Cabrera

DH looks like Nick Webre making a big case early on

The OF
Watson, Dups, Cabrera

Shaking out the IF
3-Bryce Jordan- .545 with three doubles
4-junior transfer Brandt Broussard, sophomore Rankin Woley and freshman Hal Hughes, so 2nd base is wide open.
6-Josh Smith
5-Slaughter

Need to find a spot for Nick Webre- .538 with four doubles, 2nd base, 3rd if Slaughter slumps, or DH?

Cabrera looked really good on the mound on Sunday in one inning of relief. PM didn't comment. Hopefully he'll let him pitch a little.

LF - Duplantis
I think Duplantis is playing almost exclusively right field not left.

Interesting, thought they may have wanted to keep him in left and have Cabrera in right.

Any chance of Reid getting the start over Slaughter?

I know he hasn't had anything going at the plate so far.

He's too important in the dugout as moral support and lead crowd pumper/towel whirler.

His velocity has never recovered from his shoulder bone spur surgery in 2015.
