7 Wafford 1-2 2b 2rbi 1BB
5 Lockridge 1-2 1BB 1K
Pitchers
Godfrey 90mph 2IP 2H 2ER 1BB 2K
Gilbert 93mph 2 2/3IP 3H 2ER 1BB
Newman 87mph 1IP 1H 0ER 1K
I got to the Box with Duplantis already on base with no outs do to the 1 hour 15 minute, 8 mile drive from my house, BR traffic sucks.
My first time seeing the new players and my impression was good, overall. They are a taller bunch than we usually have with good speed. They also swing the bats pretty well as 9 of the 14 hits were by newcomers. Gilbert had the highest velocity I saw today as the veteran pitchers were not as fast as last year.
There are a lot of new names and numbers to learn this year but, I'll try not to let that screw up my reports.

At least he's consistent.

Pap, breaux, and deichmann did good. Interesting to see woford in left. I bet opening day we have breaux, Fraley and duplantis in the outfield.
It will be interesting to see who starts 3rd. Adams looks like he is still in the slump that started after he left Delgado

I heard that Adams had a 2 run HR in yesterday's scrimmage.

We need Fraley to get it together at the plate. He needs to be in the 2-5 range.

We need him to progress so bad. He has the most potential of any of the young guys.

Fraley didn't hit well till the regular season, last year.

Did the same thing in his freshman season too.

I hope so, we'll be counting on a few to be starters this year.

Thoughts on Dawson defensively?
Thanks for the updates scuba.

He looked OK. Out of 7 chances, he had 1 error on a ground ball to his right that bounced off his glove into left field.
