Do you think Hess or Peterson look like weekend starters?

Peterson has been the more impressive of the two so far, IMO. Its too early to tell who may become the Sunday starter as there are many candidates among the returning pitchers and some talented newcomers. I'm not sure if that will be worked out even by the start of the season.

Based on what you've seen so far, does anyone appear to have the inside track on that third starter spot?

Smith got the lead for 3b? He'll likely move to SS eventually.

Is Papierski gonna keep switch hitting or stick to the right side like he did the last couple of games last year when he made good contact consistently?

Better get out there soon, there's only a little more than about a week left till the Purple and Gold World Series this fall. Deichmann, as I've reported earlier, is looking OK in right field. His bat is still good and he can become a good outfielder with some more playing time. There are a lot of candidates for first base so I don't foresee a need for Greg to move back there this year.

No I didn't notice the feathered one at the Box. My attention was primarily on the folks on the field.

Papierski has been batting almost exclusively from the left side this fall due to a lack of left handed pitching.
