Bandwagoners have really taken flight off of I love the hat island today,my god.Do any of you Saban fans realize his records after successful seasons?8 wins after the 10 win season in 01'.9 wins after the nat'l title season of 03'.3 straight west crowns were nice too,but the west was a lot weaker.

Les Miles is an outstanding recruiter who brings swagger and confidence young football teams need.It was clearly a rebuilding year with some bad decisions about defense, sure. He'll get a new DC,and bring us back to dominance. This is the new college football folks,it's not the 70's,90's or even early 2000's.There is no more repeat national champs, the competition is too tight now.So in the words of the crying crazy guy on youtube,"Leave Britney alone!".Except leave Coach Miles alone too.lol

Ok. But guess what? When they aren't coached properly, they suck.

Need proof?

Look at us this year. Loads of talent, no? At least relative to Troy, Ole Miss, and Arkansas. Yet, for some reason, we were arguably worked against each of these teams.

See Shula's players at Bama? Average when he was there, right? Two years later, with a top of the line coaching staff and system in place, they are now 12-0 (granted, ~40% of the starters are Saban's recruits).

Did you really just say that Miles brought swagger and confidence? Really?

Have you watched this team all year? Other than their shite talking after bad plays and while losing by 20+, what confidence/swagger are you referring to?

Dude, we are the most poorly coached team in the country. No discipline, no pride. Two bad traits of a football team.

Saban is a good coach but, he is benefiting from a down year in the SEC. Florida will roll them !!!

Have they beaten anybody who has not lost at least 3,4 or 5 games???? The Sabans Players thing is retarded.
We will get a new DC and win at least 9 next year.

Since 2005 per Rivals.com the Tigers recruiting rankings :

05'-#22
06'-#7
07'-#4
08'-#8
09'-#3(so far)
avg:#8.5

Saban:
00'-#26
01'-#1
02'-#15
03'-#1
04'-#2
avg:#9

The recruiting is fine, you can't laugh about that.Maybe laugh about Miles' demeanor or lack of aggression or hirings.Do not laugh at his recruiting unless you can back it up,playa.

Quit comparing Saban's record to Miles. Im so tired of this. Saban is a proven winner. When he arrived a LSU he was building a program, he did not inherit one. No comparison. All this crap that he's benefiting from a down year, blah, blah blah... HE IS 11-0 IN HIS SECOND YEAR AT ALABAMA! YOU KNOW WHAT HE IS GOING TO DO ONCE HE REALLY GETS THINGS ROLLING THERE! QUIT WORRYING ABOUT ALABAMA AND WORRY ABOUT LSU.

Yeah, people are really trying to sugarcoat how badly Miles has got us playing now, with no discipline, and regressing throughout the year. Also, in the 2 years that Saban has been back in the league, Saban is now 19--6 and Miles is 19--7. And I think what Bama was when he got there was in just a little worse shape than we were in, yet still a better record!

This is what I hated the most about Miles from day one. It makes me want to throw up when I see that "okay pat" after a F up.

No sugarcoating here. E'thing will be ok if . . .

1) Miles proves to be a learner. There were tons of mistakes (in game and otherwise) THAT SHOULD NEVER BE REPEATED.
2) He puts LSU's interests above anyone else (staff or players).
3) He makes the necessary staff changes (starting with DC).

Being a players coach will be one of his biggest downfalls if he does not change up his mentality. Instead of worrying about making friends and hurting feelings he needs to worry about coaching and winning every week at all costs even if it means playing a freshman over a senior as one example.

I agree. The SEC is definitely down this year. Tennessee, who was in the SEC championship game last year. Auburn, who never did get it off the ground and LSU, who should have beaten Alabama. Hell, we threw 4 interceptions that game and their Senior quarterback didn't impress me one bit. Florida will prevail.
