Can everybody stop talking about how we can't overlook these guys? We get it, you watch a lot of football and you can't wait to say "I told you so" when they play us close. Stop jumping into every thread to brag about how amazing WKU is. We are LSU, stop acting like you have never played a hot offense.

Just a bit of useless info:

Jim Harbaugh's dad coached at WKU. Jim was an unpaid asst coach.

Ask Ole Miss if Memphis State is 'good'. I have a feeling that Miles somehow will have this team focused. Not sure why I feel that way, but I do.

Yea we'll beat them up with our Oline and running game. Playing WKU is actually a great opportunity. If we somehow get to the playoffs. WKU offense is very similar to Baylor good practice!

WKU been prepping for Tiger Stadium game since last spring, so there is going to be a ton of motion and a QB completing 74% of his passes, so I think they will put up some points, and will have Tiger defense off balance. Tigers win, but DBU will have their hands full.

The Hilltoppers began preparing for the atmosphere in the spring, when they started piping simulated LSU crowd noise through the sound system at Houchens-Smith Stadium.

Brohm said the noise could hurt because WKU will need motion to set up a lot of its offense, but he said the Tops will work on that all week and stress avoiding "stupid penalties" because of the crowd.

Good think WKU prepared for crowd noise. I'm sure Tiger fans are just amped to play them.

They're 6-1, right? Mikes said on SEC Now yesterday that he voted them in the top 25. Need to come to play. They'd abuse Syracuse.

The wake up call was the Tigers' lacklustre performance against a BAD Eastern Michigan team. Because of that game, I believe the Tigers will be focused, if not obsessed, with W. Kentucky.

Great quote and reasoning. Baylor has defeated no ranked teams and has played a crap schedule, so has TCU for that matter.

We will kill WKU, because they're hot offense will ride the pine for a large percentage of the game and we will score TD's with Fournette and they will not convert on all offensive drives.

Random observation: Doughty was on the WKU team that LSU played in 2011. He didn't play though. But damn that dude's been around a long time.

People who get overly impressed with flashy passing stats forget an important football truth.

I don't care if it's the best offense in the history of the sport of football, they can't score points when the other team is averaging 6, 7, or 8 yards per rush and keeping them off the field.

LSU wins TOP 35:00-25:00 and wins 35-17. People will say "It was only an 18 point win." but the truth of the matter is that if football games lasted 120 minutes instead of 60, than LSU would win 84-30.

The only way WKU makes this a close game is if LSU shoots themselves in the foot enough to let them stay in it.

We need to keep the ball away from their offense. Long sustained drives. Pound, pound, pound.

Yes the Hiltoppers are a good team...the TE Tyler Higbee got dinged last week & status unknown...he's emerged as an NFL Prospect...(Florida's Jake McGee scored 2 TD's Sat nite)....Tigers Defense just need limit breakdowns in coverage...no excuse to be that WIDE OPEN!

LSU Wins 41-23
