east coast it'll be 12.30 before it's said and done. i told mine if she wants to stay up she can, but she can't skip school Tuesday.
she's all about it.
if we win, should i let her sleep late? these people already think we are crazy up here.

If LSU wins, let her take off school. It's not like this happens all the time. Be the cool dad and give her a day off.

My son will be able to stay up until it's over (3 yrs. old) simply because I don't want to have to pause it to put him to bed.

Consider it a snow day...she's off.

generally that's my problem...being TOO cool for school (administrators that is!). i'd just as soon let her take the rest of the WEEK off!
she's definitely staying up for the game though.

I figure LSU will be up by 3 scores around 10, so they can just go to bed.

My son is in the 6th grade and his school is allowing the kids to wear LSU shirts today.
I'm going to allow him to stay up and watch the game tonight.

My kid's school requires uniforms, not today, LSU gear allowed... The state is behind the team.

Not to hijack this thread, but I actually talked the principal of my son's elementary school in Youngsville (Lafayette basically) to allow kids to wear LSU shirts today. In Lafayette, that's a major coups!

My 15 year old will not go to bed until it's over, she has already advised me of that. I also agreed to allow her to "sleep in" tomorrow..

no worries!
that DOES sound like a big coup especially considering the cajuns' season.

I let my son stay up for all weekday night games of interest. I let him camp out on the couch with the game on and a blanket and he never makes it past 9:30.
He might make it to 10:30 tonight though.

Like other schools, my kids school which normally wears uniforms, let them wear blue jeans and LSU gear. After that, my kids would be too disappointed not to stay up. They will be going to school late tomorrow though.

My 6 year old son will sit with me and watch every minute of every game. During the week, he's always wanting to watch games we've recorded.
Hell yea I'm letting him stay up and watch the whole game. He can sleep in tomorrow with me and I'll just check him in late. May even have to call in sick tomorrow...
