To all the haters I feel ya... Michigan, TCU, and maybe one other team. However if Minnesota is legit then there were no top teams that showed weakness because Michigan is not a top team at the moment. But I still feel what you are saying.

Eh. Preseason rankings really skew things. Last year everyone was extremely shocked when USCe was upset. Turned out they never deserved that ranking. I think Baylor is ranked extremely high. TCU looked good but more rusty than anything. Lot of factors.

Baylor's defense looked incredibly strong. Along with their offense, scoring 50+ on a phenomenal SMU defense....

TCU was soft in the middle vs the run which opens up the other teams offense. And Minnesota coach looks like a Gopher.

Preseason rankings need to vanish or at least be more freely changed before week 6. If you saw #2 play and you saw 20 teams better, rank them #21. This will never happen so just wash out preseason rankings. Start after week 6 with a real body of work in and out of conference.
