I tell you what, I hadn't done the research but we threw the ball on first down. A lot. Most of our passes were on first down. And were successful for that matter except for a few drops. The other pass plays were in 3rd and short and third and long. Probably because of penalties. I'm actually quite pleased by watching this again. I'd like to see some second down PA on 2-5. Seems I didn't see that much plus it gives the defense a headache. Is it a pass or run on second and short?

Nice job! Thanks! I don't know how fans lived through the days with only the Sunday paper.

Very well managed game by BH. He makes the throw to the far sideline look so easy. I didn't like the 3rd and 9 playcall in the 4th when we rolled him straight right to the short side of the field with one option. Weird call.

Maybe show a replay of each pass in slow motion would be helpful. That way we can see if it was an inaccurate pass or poor catch effort on the incompletions.

Nice video... My only compliant with the passing game is I think they have to many patterns where all of the receivers go deep.

Also noticed that big d-lineman for Syracuse was pretty good.

Diarse could be the Fournette of WR's if we could get him the ball more.
Don't forget we have 2 freshman on the OL, as well.
BH has a tendency to lean back in his stance right before the ball is snapped. Any DL's that look at film ought to pick that up. No bueno.

Hey, can you do this for every game? Been looking for somebody on youtube who would do an "all plays" version of LSU players.

Guys that have big games preferably.

he may not pass a lot, but he looks very calm and confident. he kept his cool on the play where he tossed it to fournette, then there was the 3rd and 17 screen when he had guys in the backfield immediately but didn't freak out. he stayed calm and got the pass off for positive yards.

I think he'll be more than ready for the heart of sec competition

I think he'll be ready for SEC play. The WRs need to make more plays when they can instead of waiting for the ball to hit them in the numbers.

We still don't have that aggressive WR that will snatch the ball out if the air time and time again. Everybody mostly waits til it comes into their bodies instead of snatching it. That is the difference from them and guys like Landry and Beckham.

That won't mean that they won't be good, but I would like an aggressive dog at WR. Big or tall, doesn't matter. I want to see us line Guice up more as a WR. I want to see will his style carry over. He could be our Sony Michel if they utilized him more. Especially in two back sets with Fournette.

Cam has been right. Harris is developing slowly but surely...I'm personally pleased with his development...let's give both and Cam and BH their just desserts...each deserves our applause...jmho

No don't do that. He guy, just slow the video down on youtube. If you are on a computer, or just desktop mode on your phone, you can slow it down or speed it up.

Dural should have caught that pass

Yeah, I thought Dural made a half-hearted effort on the pass play on the near sideline. That was a VERY catchable ball.

People said he needs to stay in the pocket.. He looked absolutely great in the pocket and delivered so many passes on the money that were dropped.

Very impressed by Harris' accuracy and demeanor. He is so poised.

What is the genesis of that remark? It looked to me like every receiver to whom he threw was open. There were at least 4 drops in the game, maybe 5. I also still don't know why Dural missed that ball down the sidelines. He slowed down and it was just off his finger tips. He either misjudges it or located it late.

Shame on those first read receivers getting open. They should make him work for his supper. Actually he is really reading well.

And on that first third down to Diarse, he was almost sacked by Pocic which forced a poor throw that still could have been caught.

Other than that, though, I didn't notice Pocic getting pushed around like most have mentioned, just that one play.
We gon be aight.
