When was the last time we've seen an LSU quarterback make a play like that? Pushed out of the pocket in under 2 seconds, and delivers a perfect strike where only Chark could reach it. I think we've got ourselves a playmaker

Also Chark's catch reminded me of Santonio Holmes' super bowl grab. Good to see him finally get some looks.

while begrudgingly I agreed with the official's call,Etling's grit and determination on that play was awesome. As for as the Barn knew it was live.

Freds bar went from "free shots from girls standing on the bar" to "shite"

It went from
"shite. We're about to lose"
to
"Okay... we're driving."
to
"frickING COME ON"
to
"1 second?? We lost. Fire miles"
to
"What's the flag?!?!??!!"
"Against us. That's the game. Bye Miles"
to
"HOLY shite. WE WON *runs around screaming and going wild* I LOVE THE MAD HATTER"
to
"No time on the clock when the ball was snapped? FIRE MILES. THAT POS"

He's shifty, but his management of those last few plays was not good. At all. Neither were the WRs for that matter (get out of bounds ).

On the play before the final snap, with the clock running but still 4 seconds to go, he called for the snap early while the WR wasn't set, resulting in the penalty. That part is bad, but what was worse was the fact that he thew it short of the end zone. You don't throw the ball short of the end zone on 4th and 6 on a snap that took place with 4 seconds left. With no penalty the game probably ends right there.

ETA: His actual play on the last play was excellent. The mental/unprepared part of it the plays before left alot to be desired.

Danny is a straight gamer. He'll be good for us moving forward.

It didn't count but there's no denying that it was an incredible play. I'm trying to think of the last LSU QB who could've made that play...

As long as any part of your body is behind it, you're ok. When I saw it live I thought he crossed it though.

I get what you're saying but I think most of that falls on the head coach. Etling was making his first SEC road start and got really beat up throughout the game. Despite all that he still led us to within a split second of a game winning drive capped by a beautiful touchdown pass.

Also it's funny how there's 2 seconds left when Dupre goes down but then another second magically ticks off.....

it was bad because he threw it short of the end zone because had he waited until the WR was set, the clock would have run out on that play. However, regardless of the outcome, it was still a hell of a catch and throw on the final play

Could have? Probably all of them. Who could do it more often than not? Russell is the only one I for sure would count on. I'd give Flynn, Perrilloux and Mettenberger a decent shot at it. Everyone else is an iffy proposition, but it's an all or nothing situation.

I hope BH just transfers cause if you think a shovel pass makes DE a great playmaker where in for a long season as well as next year. This kid could take a shite on the side line and 90% of our fan base would say that's a great call Danny. I just don't get how we give this kid a pass for 118 yards in a game, that's mind blowing to me. 118 fricking yards and you talking about a great shovel pass. Unbelievable

Clocks actually at 3 seconds when he hits the ground.

I understand 1 second difference with a slight run off, but 2? Especially at that point in the game
