Seahawks GM John Schneider said the reason that offensive line coach Tom Cable never met with second-round pick Ethan Pocic during the pre-draft process was because the team didn't want to show its interest. "We thought he was so versatile, we just wanted to be very careful with how much interest we showed," Schneider said. Pocic played mostly center for LSU, but Pete Carroll indicated that he'll get a look at other spots. "We'll see him at guard and tackle, knowing he can play center," Carroll said.

Definitely won't be playing center unless it's a last resort. Nfl coaches won't be trying to fit a round peg in a square hole for 3 years. And then realize we have to play a 6' 7" tackle at center because he knows the position even though he's probably a better fit for tackle.

Uh Leslie you sad strange lil man

He was one of the best centers in the league and even at 6'6 his arm length is better suited for him playing inside. Pocic was a beast RG and that might be his best fit in the NFL.

I liked the Ramcyzk pick, but the Saints should've selected a great defensive player (Which they needed more) with that 32nd pick of the first round and then grabbed Pocic in the second. (EP was on the board when they picked in the 2nd too)

They just repeated the "Roman Harper over Andrew Whitworth" mistake!
