Based on 10,000 simulations looking at ESPN's 2017 Football Power Index, here's every SEC team's first projected loss next season:

Vanderbilt Commodores: (vs. Kansas State, Sept. 16)

Missouri Tigers: (vs. Auburn, Sept. 23)

Ole Miss Rebels: (at Alabama, Sept. 30)

Mississippi State Bulldogs: (vs. LSU, Sept. 16)

Arkansas Razorbacks: (vs. TCU, Sept. 9)

Texas A&M Aggies: (at UCLA, Sept. 3)

South Carolina Gamecocks: (vs. NC State, Sept. 2)

Kentucky Wildcats: (at South Carolina, Sept. 16)

LSU Tigers: (at Alabama, Nov. 4)

Florida Gators: (vs. LSU, Oct. 7)

Auburn Tigers: (at Clemson, Sept. 9)

Georgia Bulldogs: (at Notre Dame, Sept. 9)

Tennessee Vols: (at Florida, Sept. 16)

Alabama Crimson Tide: (No losses projected; best chance at loss vs. FSU, Sept. 2)

frick NO.
Losing to Alabama means the odds of winning the SEC are slim to none, which means making the playoffs are slim.
I'd rather lose to Florida first, and then beat Bama, if we are going to lose a game.

8-0 going to Bama game sounds good.

Losing to them for a 7th straight time does not.

Ain't signing up for shite. LSU has had the talent, and now have the coaches, to beat Bama. I truly believe we get Bama either this year. I feel like we're in a good position to score more points then we usually do against them.

Actually having an offensive coordinator that can game plan and knows how to attack weaknesses will definitely equate to more success. In the past, Les and Cam literally played right into their strengths on defense. That's what was so infuriating about watching our offense since 2009. They just didn't exploit the weaknesses of the Alabama defense or anyone else's for that matter. It was a sad thing to watch, but I have confidence we will see a completely different team with Canada running the show on offense. I'm actually excited about watching the offensive side of the ball for the first time in 8 years.

You guys need to prepare for another loss to them. IT's absolutely insane to think with the simple change of a coach we are automatically at their level.

We have significant gaps in our Defense, and a QB, while good compared to our standards, is still not enough to beat a team like BAMA.

Any person on this board that wants to bet on that game, shoot me an email. It's gonna take time to recruit the right kind of players... and most importantly, It TAKES A great QB to beat them, which we do not have...yet.

We will have a good year. However, the next year is gonna be a little tougher IMO. If EO can survive that year, we should be trending up and be able to climb into that top category.

So, the Chick-fil-a Bowl, after all the hype. Sounds familiar.

If you read the Alabama message boards, it's obvious their d line has finally taken a massive step back. If we can run on them like in 2014 but with Canada mixing it up, we have a hell of a shot to win

That Florida game will be a toss up. Even though, I believe that LSU has better talent than UF.

I didn't downvote you because you don't think we're at Alabama's level, I downvoted you because you put bama in all caps twice like a complete a-hole.

Hell yes, if Bama is our first and ONLY loss. That would mean a legit shot a playoff.
