Glad the program is still a caricature for ESPN

When you hire a guy because he 'talks like us'...

Explain this.

I especially appreciated the anchor imitating Farmer Fran when they cut to him.

Explain this.
ESPN has enjoyed branding LSU as the "quirky" program the past decade. We're just drunk, rowdy cajuns with lovable Les Miles at the helm.
The intro to the segment included players imitating Coach O and cutting to the anchor doing a farmer fran impression.

I don't see how they could have possibly come up with the notion that we're "a bunch of drunk, rowdy Cajuns..." or that Les and The Orgeron are quirky.
Truth is, hiring The Orgeron as HC doubled down on the quirky/ Cajun theme, whether you consider him qualified for the position or not.

if there was ever a year to win the Natty I want it to be this year...

LSU has the team to win 10+ this year, but not a championship. I've learned that if you don't have a team built like Bama, or a dominant QB and great supporting cast, you can hang it up.
LSU would be championship caliber had we gotten Jarrett Stidham. Etling is somewhere around a McElroy as far as talent, but not nearly as accurate. That just will not cut it at all.

Watched Auburns spring game and he scares the shite out of me. Dude is already a top 3 SEC qb.

O is Einstein compared to Les. So glad that jackass is gone.

Was flipping channels a week or so ago and landed on ESPN. Female host of whatever show was on referred to O as Coach Cookie Monster.

Did O's HC record tell you this? Or was it the fact that Syracuse wouldn't even interview him for their HC spot a couple years ago?

Defense wins championships. An above average offense is all that is really needed and what LSU has lacked for a while.

You guys worry about the dumbest shite. It is almost that for some of you that your self worth is based on LSU.
