I agree. Feels good to have a real QB on the horizon and so much talent in the trenches. Now if Les can learn to be less pig headed, along with making a couple of good hires in the offseason, there is no stopping this team in the next few of years.

What's to wonder? The fix was in. Mett was told he would studiously ride the pine for a year before guiding the team for two years. He was never going to get a real chance to beat anyone out. That's not the Les Miles way regarding QB's. See Russell/Flynn, JJ/JL. No mystery there.

If we'd just had a QB of Matt Flynn's caliber this year (good but not Heisman college QB), we'd have gone 14-0 and gone down as one of the greatest teams of all time. If Mettenberger can just reach Metty's level of performance, we are golden in 2012.
