I don't like people yelling at me when they talk.

Both Skip and Stephen A agreed he will be #1 pick.
Stephen A didn't like how he didn't take over in a game that was on TV against Kentucky.
Skip thought he did the right thing by facilitating it to players who were hot at the time.

Nothing new. Ben Simmons is amazing. Stephen A and Skip make up supposed "flaws" in dumb scenarios. Still admit he's best prospect since LBJ.

While he didn't take over last night, we won by 18, so it's all good.

We needed him to take over Saturday night at Vandy and that's exactly what he did.

I think this is the first time i ever agree with Skip. Stephen A is one of the people and there are a lot that think the best player has to be your most clutch and dominate every night. Michael Jordan is the reason for this. He was the best and most clutch player for the Bulls. Some teams those two people aren't the same. Lebron is not the most clutch player on any team he has played for but he is great enough to understand that and facilitate the ball to someone who is. Benny does the same thing sometimes and sometimes he realizes he is the best option and just takes over.

This show, along with MANY others is completely unwatchable. It's 100% scripted. They meet beforehand to go over the script where the vast majority of the time one picks one side and the other takes the opposing view. All ESPN and most networks have done is take knowledgeable sports figures and made them into well paid sports actors that'll "argue" for the public. The best thing to do is: avoid all these programs, find when your team is playing, record the game, let it get an hour ahead, turn off your phone, press play, fast forward through all commercials and half time, and you'll be caught up live by the end of the game. Turn it off after the clock reads 0:00 and go on with your life. Makes life really simple.

And then log onto a message board to complain about how other people watch their sports entertainment.

He was in foul trouble the entire first half.

You're free to watch whatever you want. It's still a free country. You do seem like you'd be a wrestling fan though. The two go hand in hand, but hey watch what you want.

what a dumbass. All Ben cares about is winning. He didn't have to take over at all last night.

I thought it was funny that they tried to act like they watched enough college basketball (and LSU basketball) to be able to talk about non-Simmons players.

I enjoyed it though.

Made back to back to back buckets in a 10pt game with 3 minutes left that sealed the victory

If Simmmons does not sit out for 9 minutes, it's entirely possible he could have had a triple double. The kid's only a freshman & is 6'10". As most of the knowledgeable talking heads have been saying, even Magic did not have a 15' jump shot as a freshman.

Stephen A was raving about him 99% of the time, saying he is on Magic and Lebron's level. It's a fair statement that he needs to be more aggressive and develop a jump shot game.
