A league source tells The Sideline View's Lance Zierlein that LSU S Eric Reid's stock is "on the rise," and that he could sneak into round one.

Reid is a big hitter who showed well at the Combine, but questions about his cover skills have had him almost exclusively projected as a day-two pick. Rotoworld draft guru Josh Norris believes "perceived athletic upside" would be the only reason Reid goes in round one. Source: Lance Zierlein on Twitter Apr 10 - 2:51 PM

Makes sense. The closer to draft time, the more teams start drooling over measureables

Good for Reid

I've seen a lot of mock drafts with the packers picking him in the first.

I wouldn't doubt it, Reid has a very high ceiling

I'm glad to hear this with him getting invited to the Draft in Radio City Music Hall. I was hurting for Randle when he slipped as far as he did last year.

Did suck for Randle, but going to the Giants with a QB like Manning has to be awesome. Especially after playing with Jefferson for three years

If he would have repeated his '11 performance he would have been a top 15 pick.

Reid just needs to brush up on his geometry.

This. Get him a protractor and he's a first rounder.

I hate to say I told you so. I figured he would move up to day 1. Just to add to my hunch, besides having all the measureables Reid is very smart. Don't sell him short. He may have been trying to do too much last year and was overcompensating, but he has too many positives not to be a good pro. I think he will pick up any system he is in very quickly and will be playing soon.

49ers are likely taking a S at #31 or #34

I can't understand how they are rating the Texas safety over Reid?

Texas D was very bad in a very weak conference how could he have outplayed Reid .
