Someone make me a believer. Last year we were virtually pistil whipped by larger, meaner, and more physically tougher people wear red jerseys. After 7 games I am having a hard time seeing anything different. Can someone explain how is this year different?

we can win if we can score a few turnovers and play an awesome game.

It won't be any different. People just have yawyaw fever right now. A good beatdown is the only antidote.

Experienced, talented team; playing motivated and for a Coach that lets his staff do their thing. This is going to fall on the shoulders of Etling and the defense, who have had 2 weeks to prepare. We are hungry for a victory over Bama, a SEC Championship, a Playoff birth, a National Title, and Ceauxch Eaux for the foreseeable future!

Sure we can. It's not necessarily probable, but I certainly don't think it is as improbable as many are making it out to be. I think Coach O will have them playing loose, which will be a good thing.

Do not allow Bama's D to score a TD. That is 1a....1b, keep the D line off Etling. Run LF right at their D ends not away from them....too fast on the perimeter.

Keep Bama guessing...Miles playbook is gone. Make them feel like the cannot telegraph our offensive series.

Flip the field/don't let them flip the field- kicking game will be very important.

Do not by any means shot yourself in the foot. pre snap penalties, holding away from the ball, etc. We're gonna get flagged for holding or PI, they just call those tighter now.

I think if we can do all those things, we have a damn good shot.

No BS (except CBS). It's a new team, a new approach, a new attitude. This is anti-Miles! Unlike the previous games, this one will not involve a plan that plays right into 'Bama's strengths.

Because LSU's defense is better than Bama's.

Hurts will not be able to throw against LSU. Kiffin will draw up some stuff and get him moving outside the pocket and come up with some gimmick plays, but they won't be able to do that all game.

As long as LSU contains hurts on 3rd down and doesn't allow him to make plays with his feet, they will be fine.

I expect LSU's offense to be effective and take care of the ball. They will not give up the bullshite defensive TDs Bama has been living off of all year.

LSU's O-line is the best its looked in a long time. probably a combination of the new play calling and rest, but the talent is there.

LSU is the more motivated team at home

Take off the jerseys for a minute and compare players/units.

LSU's secondary vesus Bama passing game. I like LSU.

Bama OL versus LSU front seven. It's a push.

LSU OL versus Bama front 7. I like Bama.

LSU's "new" passing game versus Bama secondary. I like LSU.

Intangibles are huge in LSU's favor.

Turnovers are the wildcard. If Bama does not score a non offensive TD I do belive the Tigers will win this game.

Look, bama is not invincible. The same ole miss team that we held in check moved the ball and scored on Bama pretty well. Go back and watch the scoring plays on YouTube. (No I do not know how to post links, pictures)
Bama had two defensive scores. A pick six and a sack fumble in the end zone. They also had punt return for TD. That's 21 points given away. THAT is where Bama takes a game over. That's where the game is going to be won or lost. If we have turnovers and special team blunders that lead to points, it's probably over and we can't win. I honestly think both of these teams are very close talent wise.

LSU matches up well against Alabama, and I think the Tigers are better than Alabama in a lot of areas on the field. Try telling that to ESPN, Fox, CBS, Cowturd etc though....

Offensively The Gumpy McGumpsters can score some points...but if you look at it – most of those points are set up by turnovers and the opposing team has had to abandon it's original game plan because they are playing from behind.

LSU's D can attack the Gumpy McGumpsters offense. As a matter of fact I don’t think the Gumpsters will have much success at all moving the football.

We all know Hurts is a true freshman, and we all know the Gumps rely on their running game. But this year Gumpys don't have a true feature back...so honestly I think LSU can slow the running game down and force the team into some third down and longs.

WHEN that happens, LSU can go on the attack. I don't think Kiffin and Satan trust Hurts in the passing game. They know he’s not someone who can beat you deep down the field. He's a dink and dunk passer.

That won’t work on LSU. The Tigers have the lateral speed to close those gaps and keep the Gumps out of the end zone. I don't think that they will easily move the ball on LSU.

That being said - now it's LSU's offense that we talk about.

We won't see records broken....BUT Oh-Danny-Boy Etling, Lighting Leonard Fournette, Dominating Derrius Guice, MachoMan Malachi Dupre and Touchdown Travin Dural can make ENOUGH plays to put some points on the big board.

This is all assuming that LSU can keep from turning over a pick 6 or a special teams fiasco...that Frickin Gumpys always seems to get. I think we got just enough to get the win.
