Bama beat a team that was without it's starting QB for the entire 2nd half. FL had to play a freshman. Do you think LSU would have had any problems with FL in the same situation? FL is not the team it was 2-5 years ago.

WE have a better passing game if we can protect JLee. Richardson was a beast today, but is Fl's DLine even in the same league as ours. Chavis has had good game plans so far-why won't he have one for BAMA. Plus, our rotation of backs and Dline has worn people out. Does Bama have the same depth at Dline as we do?

I don't know who will win, but people are talking like BAMA suddenly became invincible.

I really do believe FL's running game played to Bama's strength. Both the running backs are speed guys and that really hurts you against that type of Dline.

You really need some power backs to hang with the LSU and Bamas of the SEC

Good point. One was a pick 6. I think we might be capable of getting turnovers against Brantley. Plus in the 2nd half, FL no longer had a passing game. Their defense played well in the 3rd quartet, but was just left on the field too long. They werre too tired to stop Richardson. Kind of like what we have done in the 4th quarter to Oregon, MSU, and WVU.

It's just nervousness. It's a big game and basically the National Title game.

Sure, but they were already mostly on the way to a win anyhow. Instead of a 38-10 win it might have been 31-21 or something of that nature.

Bama will be a very tough customer, it is looking more and more like the national title game will be played in November.

Florida's running game this year is basically the remnants of what Urban Meyer considered a running game. With Tebow, he didn't need a classic power running game. Demps and Rainey aren't power SEC runners and Bama has way too much closing speed on defense to try to run around the edge or get loose in space. Florida is just not as physical as Bama or LSU right now but Muschamp will change that in the next few years. That said, I truly believe LSU has too much experience, depth, and playmakers in all 3 phases of the game for Bama to handle over the course of a game. I say LSU wins by 3 in Tuscaloosa. We seem to have each other's number when we play on each other's home turf. It should be a classic LSU-Bama war. I'm looking forward to it.

Lets focus on Florida first. One game at a time.

Florida should be a cake walk now considering Brantley is out. 34-6 sounds good to me.

All true. I didn't see the play Brantley got hurt on -- was it one of those infamous Bama "play to the echo of the whistle" or whatever cheap shots? LSU is smart to get Jefferson snaps b/c they'll likely need both QBs to beat Bama particularly at their place w/ the home cooking and inevitable late, cheap, unflagged shots on the QB.
