Completely different, Tigercoop. Those two teams threw short underneath passes to receivers underneath the zone defense as LSU sat in basic coverages. LSU's strategy was they'll make a mistake every 6 plays or so. Bama threw against a defense that was stacking to stop the run.

Exactly and that kind of an exclusive attention will not be demanded due to the absence of a great player like Richardson. We can pay more attention to Punk McCarron and probably stop him.

Lacy will get his yards unless he gets dinged early. The goal will be to contaIn him...not shut him down. He's just too good of an athlete for that to work.

If we can keep him below a hundred yards with no breakaway long ones...we win.

Bear in mind though, if LSU's defense creeps up and spy's him, he will turn into a decoy that allows for their QB's VERY good arm.

Having said all of that, Mett's arm wins this one. I hope that they try that eight in the box shite on every down like they did in the NC game...mett will destroy them.

IMHO, we CAN contain them on defense while picking up a couple of big plays. Maybe turnovers.

But they just don't have the horses to consistently stop our offense.

Prediction: LSU-35, ALA-24

Book it.
