I had to leave for work last night early in the second quarter. Was sick to my stomach at the egg the Tigers were laying at that point. Heard us score right before the half on the radio and before having to turn my phone off checked the score, we are only down by one score. Didn't get to check out the Tivo until this morning. This loss was not nearly the woodshedding many on the board are making it out to be.

Go on the road in the SEC against a team one year removed from a Natl Championship, sporting the returning Heisman winning q-back, talk some smack to give them a little extra motivation, and bring an inexperienced quarterback tandem and secondary. What exactly are we expecting. With 7-ish minutes to go in the third quarter we were scaring the crap out of Gator nation.

Florida had an excellent defensive plan, stack the line with 8 in the box, force LSU to throw and see if they can beat you. On the couple of series that Lee was ON we marched up and down the field like a track meet! When he wasn't, we throw two picks (get one returned for 6), fumble a handoff, throw into coverage and put the ball into difficult places for our receivers (they dropped a few they probably should have caught as well.) Then we have to start gambling, on-side kicking, going for it on fourth down and put our D into holes, allowing a pretty good football team to score a few "meaningless" TD's. The only thing that really disappointed me was letting the waterbug backs run free on us. TT/"Jesus in cleats" threw one TD in the red zone to Harvin and ran one in on the sweep/keeper. No credit for the 70-yd tip/fluke on the push-off. I think we had a pretty good plan to keep him in check, their young backs just stepped up and played their asses off.

Keep the faith and give our young guys time to grow up in the SEC a little bit!

NOOOO! According to the "ranta-rifics"

We need to fire the defensive staff NOW

Replace Les Miles in the off season

And BTW, Gary "the Wiz" Crowton has lost his Emerald City shine....

Release all committed recruits, because they are never going to be fast enough

Never let McCray in an LSU uni again

Pull Hatch and Lee, 'cause it's JJ time!!

have RJF's tounge surgically removed...

and have Mike the tiger Mascot's costume burned...( okay, so I don't think anyone's bashed him yet (this week), but he's got to suck too...

what did I miss??

Nicely done.

Gotta love the way your average Rantard likes to say that any lower echelon SEC football team could whip arse on most 3rd world armies, much less the Big 12/ Big 10/ Pac 10. But if you go on the road and get beat soundly by a top 10 SEC team you are lower than amphibian whale shite!

SFP, 4000 posts in to the post-Florida meltdown we have a pretty good idea how you feel. How about giving it a rest for awhile?

I've been thinking all day that this loss was the best thing to happen for SFP since Jacob Hester was drafted!!

i don't understand the hatred for SFP. More often then not he's right in what he brings to this board.

basically yes. we can have all the meltdowns we want but the coaches have to stay in control of themselves and fix there problems, a coaching meltdown would be disastrous.

so they need to stay sun shinney but still realize there's a problem and fix it.

the coaches need to get off their fricking asses, realize they have fricked up all year, and make some changes

even bo p wasn't so arrogant as to allow shitty D like this. he made changes in 2005 after our D was embarassing
