The pick 6 makes me feel a lot better. At least our D had one highlight. I think Bama is the only team that can shut down our running game, so I feel good about the season.

Seriously, do think this will work against the high end of our schedule?

people say LSU has to pass.. can't win like this.. yet LSU ran all over florida.. even with no passing.. they ran their win to a victory against ole miss last season, and they ran well enough to be in the game vs alabama..

and we are running even better this year.. so not even sure why yall say we can't

Exactly. We've been running our way to victory for a decade. And our running game is better this season than ever before IMO.

Yes, we have lots of room for improvement. But, who doesn't?

All I know is this. Georgia has, technically, a better QB than we do, runs a pro style offense that's similar to what LSU runs with, and with similar personnel, and they were even or slightly favored to beat Alabama today, and Alabama completely stuffed the middle of the field pretty much all day and Georgia couldn't pass the ball to save their life.

I feel that's much like LSU. Great running back, good run block offensive line, but Alabama (at least) is just built to destroy a power game like that. That means we have to at least be somewhat capable in the passing game, and we just aren't and probably won't be. I'll hope that LSU's defense shows up and keeps it close, and hopefully we eek out a win.

How can I agree so much with you on this board and never agree with you on politics.

I Care. Had LSU -18.5 for 2nd half. That cost a few of us money.

Based on this board's rating? Our defense is the most underrated in the country if we're going by that.

"Our" D: Held them under 100 yds rushing and to only 160 passing, 3 INTs

LSU did not take EMU seriously and EMU was definitely here for more than a game check. Pure talent advantage is why we won that game.

That said, EMU was successful with certain schemes and looks that could be a problem again SEC teams.

Fournette supremely better than Chubb

LSU offensive line light years better than UGA offensive line.

Watching these games and deciding who will win between Bama and LSU before the game is played is a baseless argument.

I just feel like most people only watch Lsu games and base opinions off of that. Teams match up different with other teams and play with different intensities week in and week out. We won. Tried some new things. Had a turnover. But every time EMU scored we answered. Never was in question.

How is it that Florida can throw out a rookie QB throw all over a defense that is light years ahead and a different class than EMU and we can't complete more than 5 passes against EMU. So tired of the excuse's made for our lack of a passing game. Our passing game should be better because of LF7. So tired of the "Brandon Harris is doing what we ask him to do" "were growing on the passing game" blah blah blah. This is on this coaching staff. Miles, Cameron, Ball, Grimes. Their rhetoric is lame and tiresome.

80 net yards passing against EMU. Absolutely horrid. 5 completions. Please.

While it is pathetic I'm going to try to be some what optimistic that those stats would have been a lot better if not for those PI calls and 2 dropped passes by our WRs...
